More experts revealed for sustainability special webinar

Voices from across the sector will be sharing expertise around sustainability later this month (July).

The webinar, which is part of The Morning Advertiser​’s Green Initiative, supported by Molson Coors Beverage Company and Brewfitt, will be delving into sustainability practices as well as how you can boost your green credentials as well as your bottom line.

Taking place on Tuesday 25 July, we can now reveal the full line up of stellar speakers on the agenda.

UKHospitality’s Kate Nicholls​ will be giving an overview on where the sector is at when it comes to sustainability practices.

She will also be discussing the trade body’s pledges​ to help the sector become more environmentally friendly including plans for the industry to reach net zero by 2040.

Expertise outlined

Moreover, chef and co-owner of the Black Bull in Sedbergh, Cumbria Nina Matsunaga​ focuses on local produce on her menus.

She will be outlining the importance of local sourcing to her business and the benefits it brings to the pub.

Meanwhile, two of the nation’s largest pub companies will be revealing their environmental, social and governance (ESG) policies.

Business inspiration

Punch Pubs & Co’s Jon Dale​ will be highlighting how the company’s ESG strategy is embedded across the business while Greene King’s Assad Malic​ will talk about how the historic firm has evolved to incorporate sustainability.

After hearing from in the sector, it will be time to look at outside views of the sector and Lumina Intelligence’s Blonnie Whist​ will be providing insight into consumer views on sustainability.
