Execute the perfect serve and win Coca-Cola stock and glassware
But while restrictions are behind us, the current cost-of-living crisis means venues still have a compelling case to make to encourage consumers to eat and drink out and choose their outlet over others.
The key is giving people a special experience that they would want to recommend to others and executing the perfect drink serve is part of this.
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has launched a new Coca-Cola Perfect Serve initiative to help operators do just that – complete with chances to win free stock and glassware.
Getting the basics right
Brilliant basics are the foundation of success. That’s why CCEP is focusing on helping operators to serve Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Coca-Cola Original Taste and Diet Coke to perfection.
And why not?
These are the three fastest-growing cola brands in the pubs and bars sector, and collectively, they account for nearly 72% of cola value sales in pubs and bars[2].
So, how to get involved?
There’s a new guide on CCEP’s customer website, My.CCEP.com – complete with step-by-step instructions and a video – explaining how to serve Coca-Cola at its very best.
Pat Humphries, on-premise associate director at CCEP, said: “When people are enjoying a Coca-Cola in your pub, restaurant or bar, it’s vital you give them a great serve every time to deliver on customer satisfaction and to encourage a second serve and repeat visits.
“Our new Coca-Cola Perfect Serve training video will help guarantee that your customers experience a perfect serve whenever they place an order.”
Chances to win free stock and glassware
The first 50 customers who sign in or register an account on My.CCEP.com and enter the competition via the information tab on the website will win a case of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and a case of 16oz Coca-Cola glasses. The entrants will need to correctly answer a question upon submission, an answer which features in the Coca-Cola Perfect Serve video.
Four steps to success
So, what’s the secret? There are just four simple steps:
- Choice: Offer Coca-Cola Zero Sugar, Coca-Cola Original Taste and Diet Coke – in bottle or draught format
- Glass: Use a branded Coca-Cola glass if your venue has them
- Ice: Fill a third of the glass with ice and then add the Coca-Cola – how much depends on whether it’s bottle or draught
- Slice: Add a slice of lemon or lime
TOP TIP! Serve with the logo on the glass (and the bottle if you’ve got one) facing the customer.
Humphries added: “Taking care of how every drink is served and presented can make a big difference – especially as 70% of consumers already say they’d order a second soft drink if asked[3]. The opportunity to serve soft drinks with food is important, too – when consumers purchase a drink with a meal, average spend increases by almost a third[4].”
To enter – and for full Terms & Conditions – head to My.CCEP.com, where you can register for an account, and watch the video on the Perfect Serve page before answering the question to be in with a chance of winning.
