A variety of new pubs and bars have opened and reopened this month, many with a clear focus on their food offer.
Stonegate brand Walkabout has a dedicated section of its food menu for Parmi and barbecue alongside offering diners the opportunity to have a more informal dinner with sharing dishes and party platters at its Colchester site in Essex.
Spicy offer
Slug and Lettuce in Croydon, south London is also offering customers sharing options such as crispy jalapeño slices will be on offer, served with paprika sour cream and cured meat antipasti.
The iconic 'pub on the Thames', the Tattershall Castle reopened this month (July) and guests can have fish and chips on the deck.
Robinsons Brewery reopened the Rising Sun in Tarporley, Cheshire, with a focus on cask ales, craft beers, spirits, wines and wholesome pub food.
Rotisserie and grilled
Multiple award-winning pub group New World Trading Company announced it will be opening its second Birmingham site later this year (August).
The venue will offer a fresh and vibrant take on pub food that will be centred around the rotisserie and grilled meats, along with a deli selection and a wide range of well-kept ales.
Camden Town Brewery is holding its official launch party of its new brewery in Enfield, north London this month and will feature a variety of food from the capital.
This includes a Venetian option from Polpo, Homeslice Pizza, Byron Burger and more.
