Stonegate Group to host unique recruitment event
Stonegate, which won the award for Best Pub Employer (501+ employees) at the 2020 Publican awards, is hosting a recruitment and networking day to find new people to join its pub, bar, and venues teams in central and town locations.
The managed pubs division is split into Branded and Traditional pubs, the branded division includes Slug & Lettuce, Walkabout, Be At One and Venues while the traditional (unbranded) pubs are made up of Proper Pubs, Town Pub & Kitchen, Classic Inns, Common Room and Craft Union.
More than a job
Stonegate Group HR director, Tim Painter, said: “We are on the hunt for amazing people to join our teams.

Stonegate became the largest pub company in the UK after being acquired by the Ei Group in March 2020 for £1.27bn, comprising of 1,270 sites within the managed division, 3,200 leased and tenanted businesses and employing 13,500 people.

Not your average interview
Though the so called ‘hunt for talent’ will differ from the average job interview; candidates will be able to meet current general and area managers, hear about their experiences and what a career at Stonegate entails.
Applicants will also meet beer suppliers, partake in gin masterclasses, and will even be treated to free pizza.
