Sources of NT_ Problems
Common NT_ Opening Problems
Unknown Software Not Present
Double-clicking your NT_ file prompts the message "%%os%% Can't Open NT_ File". Usually, this is because you do not have Unknown Software for %%os%% installed. Because your operating system doesn't know what to do with this file, you won't be able to open it by double-clicking.
Tip: If you don't have Unknown Software installed, and you know of another program to open your NT_ file, you can try opening it by selecting from the programs listed under "Show Apps".
Wrong Version of Unknown Software is Installed
Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of Unknown Software installed that's incompatible with your Unknown File Type type. Installing the latest version of Unknown Software from Unknown Developer is recommended. Your Unknown File Type file was probably created by a newer release of Unknown Software than what's currently installed your computer.
Tip: Investigate your NT_ file by right-clicking and selecting "Properties" to find clues on what version you need.
Primarily, problems experienced when opening NT_ files are due to having the incorrect version of Unknown Software installed on your computer.
Additional NT_ Opening Issues
Although you might already have Unknown Software or another NT_-associated software installed on your computer, you can still encounter problems opening Unknown File Type files. If you are still having problems opening NT_ files, there may be other issues that are preventing you from opening these files. Additional factors include:
- Invalid NT_ file references in the Windows Registry (the "phonebook" of the Windows Operating System)
- The NT_ file description within the Windows Registry was removed
- Corrupt install of Unknown Software or other NT_-related program
- Something has caused file corruption of your NT_
- The NT_ is infected with a virus
- Hardware related to NT_s has device driver corruption
- Too many applications are open on your PC to load your Unknown File Type file successfully
