XD File Complications
Issues Opening XD Files
Missing Unknown Software
You encounter an error message such as "%%os%% Can't Open XD Files" when trying to open your XD. Customarily, this means that Unknown Software is not installed on %%os%%. This will prevent you from double-clicking to open the XD file because the OS doesn’t know how to handle it.
Tip: Another XD-related program can be selected to open the file by clicking "Show Apps" and finding the application.
Unknown Software is Out-of-Date
Your CCS-lib.2 Examples Motif-CC File file is incompatible with Unknown Software because you might have the wrong version installed. Visit the Unknown Developer website to download (or purchase) the latest version of Unknown Software. Your CCS-lib.2 Examples Motif-CC File file was probably created by a newer release of Unknown Software than what's currently installed your computer.
Tip: Investigate your XD file by right-clicking and selecting "Properties" to find clues on what version you need.
Ultimately, most of the difficulties opening XD files are due to having the wrong version of Unknown Software installed.
