Unknown Software Disappeared

You encounter an error message such as "%%os%% Can't Open XPE Files" when trying to open your XPE. When this happens, it is commonly due to Unknown Software missing in %%os%%. The typical path of opening your XPE with a double-click won't work because %%os%% cannot make the program connection.

Tip: If you have another software that you know opens XPE files, you can select it by hitting the "Show Apps" button.

Incorrect Unknown Software Version

Occasionally, you might have an outdated version of Unknown Software installed that's incompatible with your Uncommon File Extension type. • Something has caused file corruption of your XPE
• Your XPE has adversely impacted by malware
• XPE-related hardware has device drivers that obsolete
• Your PC doesn’t have enough available resources to open the Uncommon File Extension file
