Sheppy's introduces new low alcohol raspberry variant
Sheppy's releases low alcohol raspberry cider
Somerset-based cider maker Sheppy’s has introduced a new low alcohol raspberry flavoured cider.
Marking the brand’s second low alcohol cider release, the new serve has been crafted to have the same flavour profile as Sheppy’s classic ciders, made using a blend of Somerset’s traditional and dessert cider apples alongside pure raspberry juice.
Sheppy’s managing director David Sheppy said: “We are thrilled to be launching our latest Low Alcohol Cider with Raspberry and see our low-no range expand further.
“We are aware that 20% of cider drinkers are keen to see increased low-no alcohol varieties available and innovations in this space are important to maintain volume growth and keep shoppers interested in the category.
“Furthermore, our ciders with fruit consistently produce strong sales during the summer months and so by combining two of our best performers ahead of the warmer months, we aim to provide retailers with an opportunity to tap into two key trends.
“Our Low Alcohol Cider with Raspberry offers all our craft credentials, flavour and excellent quality that Sheppy’s Cider is recognised for, just with a lower ABV of 0.5%.”
Sheppy’s Low Alcohol Raspberry Cider is available now via the Sheppy’s webshop in cases of 12x500ml bottles at RRP £27.50.
