TouchTunes sales and marketing manager Toby Hoyte said: “Although the top five most played tracks all hail from this decade, the old classics remain popular too with AC/DC, Eagles and Kenny Rogers all in the top 20.
“This is where our range of jukeboxes with bespoke playlists can really help express the atmosphere of a venue and play to the tastes of its customers.
“The Gambler by Kenny Rogers was the seventh most popular jukebox track of 2019 after becoming an unofficial England rugby anthem but a venue might have missed this if they just put the top 10 chart on repeat.”

Others bands and artists to make the top 20 include Fleetwood Mac, Rod Stewart, David Bowie, Madness, Guns N’ Roses and UB40.
Hoyte added: “Although never given as much attention in the media as their popularity should warrant, UB40 have shown themselves to be a more popular British band than The Beatles or The Rolling Stones. Again, this is the kind of unquantifiable insight operators may not be able to predict.”
“All our playlists and tiles are continually updated digitally so the choices are fresh and never out of tune with customers, I mean did anyone even know who Lewis Capaldi was this time last year?
“If you get the music right, customers will be more likely to dwell in-venue and spend at the bar and our jukeboxes are profiled to fit every kind of venue, every kind of customer and every kind of taste in music.”
